Les Hirondelles d’Eymet is a two-bedroomed town house in the heart of the bastide town of Eymet with unrivalled views over the medieval square.

Enjoy days out visiting the Dordogne’s famous castles, pretty towns, typical markets, vineyards and museums. Or why not explore the natural beauty of the region on foot, by bike or even a canoe? Then come back to Eymet where you can leave your car and step out of your accommodation right into the square with its many restaurants, bars, cafes and evening entertainment.

Throughout the summer months Eymet has a comprehensive programme of entertainment with night markets (end of June to September), live music and festivals.

The accommodation is on three levels with a ground floor entrance hall, second floor kitchen, living room and decorative light well with one double and one twin bedroom (sleeps 4), bathroom (shower) on the top floor. Facilities include oven, large fridge, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, fans and lots of books. On-street parking.

The house has been refreshed for the summer 2023 season with the original wooden flooring being exposed, some new furniture, new wall colours and a Marrakech-style, internal lightwell feature.

Les Hirondelles d’Eymet takes its name from the birds that migrate back to the square every springtime and make it their home. Look up and you will see them flying around and swooping into their nests under the eaves to feed their babies.

The accommodation does not have a TV or internet but this can be picked up easily at the tourist office next door or in any of the cafes. All good quality bed linen and towels are provided. Complimentary bottle of wine from a local vineyard and baguette.

Les Hirondelles d’Eymet probably has the best position in town and certainly has the most amazing views.

Not suitable for those with reduced mobility, the elderly or young children due to the stairs.
